Nepalese mountaineer Nirmal Purja, who rose to fame through Netflix documentary ۱۴ Peaks after his record-breaking climb of the world’s ۱۴ highest mountains, has been confirmed dead after an avalanche struck his Broad Peak expedition in Pakistan. His team confirmed the news, with three bodies recovered.
