US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth has kicked off his ‘Send Me Tour’ in Texas, invoking the biblical words, “Whom shall I send?”, a reference to Isaiah’s declaration, “Here am I. Send me.” The military outreach comes as Hegseth’s net favourability fell to a record low of -۲۴ points amid growing public frustration over the Iran war.
