Sri Lanka sentences two officials to death for not stopping Easter bombings

Sri Lanka has sentenced a former police chief and a defence secretary to death for failing to prevent the Easter Sunday church bombings in ۲۰۱۹. The coordinated attacks killed ۲۷۹ people and injured hundreds more.
