AI-Powered Commodity Market Intelligence
Our platform is an AI-powered market intelligence and analytics platform designed to help commodity professionals make faster, smarter, and more informed decisions.
We are looking for a professional with hands-on experience in steel trading, steel sales, procurement, or market analysis who understands how real market participants evaluate opportunities, prices, supply, demand, and market signals.
In this role, you will act as a bridge between the real-world steel market and the product development team, helping us identify the information, signals, and indicators that commercial users actually need.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and analyze the physical steel market, exchange activity, prices, supply, demand, and market trends.
- Identify the key information and signals used by steel traders, buyers, sellers, and commercial decision-makers.
- Analyze data from sources such as Iran Commodity Exchange (بورس کالا) and relevant domestic and international market sources.
- Identify opportunities to turn market data into useful indicators, dashboards, and analytical features.
- Conduct discussions with market participants to understand their information needs and decision-making processes.
- Translate market needs into clear product requirements and feature concepts.
- Work closely with Product, Market Analysis, Data Engineering, and Technology teams to develop and validate market indicators.
- Evaluate whether proposed indicators accurately reflect real market conditions and provide practical commercial value.
- Identify new data sources and opportunities to improve our market intelligence.
- Support product testing, market validation, and customer discussions where market expertise is required.
What We’re Looking For
- ۳+ years of practical experience in steel trading, steel sales, procurement, commodity markets, or market intelligence.
- Strong understanding of the steel value chain and physical market.
- Familiarity with Iran Commodity Exchange (بورس کالا) and steel-market transactions.
- Strong understanding of steel pricing, supply & demand, market dynamics, and commercial decision-making.
- Ability to identify meaningful market signals and trends from multiple sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex market information into clear, practical insights.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both commercial and technical teams.
- Interest in technology, data, AI, and digital products is highly valued.
A Strong Advantage
- Experience working directly with steel traders, buyers, producers, or distributors.
- Experience with international steel/commodity market data.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Platts, Fastmarkets/Metal Bulletin, or similar sources.
- Experience defining KPIs, market indicators, dashboards, or analytical models.
- Experience working with product, data, or technology teams.
