Job Description
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for building, automating, and maintaining reliable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure environments. This role focuses on deployment automation, infrastructure management, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving operational efficiency through modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Linux, containerization, automation tools, and cloud-ready infrastructure, with a proactive mindset toward reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments.
- Manage infrastructure as code, utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Deploy backend services to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability and security of the infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software development teams to facilitate the deployment process and ensure seamless environment management.
- Develop automation tools to reduce occurrences of manual error and improve overall efficiency.
- Perform system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
- Stay current with industry trends, make recommendations on new technologies and platforms, and continuously improve strategy.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity and minimize service downtime.
- Maintain operational documentation, deployment procedures, technical runbooks, and recovery guides.
Experience:
- More than ۳ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on automation and continuous delivery.
- Strong experience with Linux administration; deeply familiar with system management, maintenance, and optimization.
- Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Bash and another scripting language like Python.
- Strong experience with web servers like Nginx or Apache, managing configurations and deployments.
- Strong experience with Docker and other container management solutions.
- Proficient in using DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins.
- Strong experience with configuration management tools, especially Ansible.
- Deep understanding of network concepts, including security, scaling, load balancing, and network management.
- Experience in monitoring tools such as Prometheus for metrics collection, Grafana for visualization, and the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack for log aggregation and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Requirements:
- Experience with Kubernetes is valued.
- Familiarity with private Docker registries such as Nexus.
- Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
- Experience with caching tools, including Redis or Varnish, is valued.
- Understanding of compliance and security requirements in a cloud environment.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Familiarity with identity and access management practices, including access control and secrets management.
- Familiarity with infrastructure security practices, including server hardening and vulnerability management.
