Twelve years after ISIL’s massacres, thousands of Yazidis seek justice

Iraq’s Yazidi community marked ۱۲ years since ISIL’s assault on Sinjar, which the UN recognised as genocide. Thousands remain displaced or missing as many survivors continue to wait for justice and the chance to return home.
