El Salvador has handed down prison sentences exceeding ۱,۰۰۰ years to gang members. It’s part of a sweeping crackdown initiated in ۲۰۲۲ by Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, who calls himself the ‘world’s coolest dictator’.
