Al Jazeera has marked ۳۰ years since its first broadcast in ۱۹۹۶, with a ceremony in Doha attended by Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Director General Sheikh Nasser bin Faisal Al Thani called for renewal, to protect the network’s independence and values.
