Bombing in Pakistan’s Dera Ismail Khan kills at least ۱۱ people

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (the Pakistan Taliban or TTP) claims responsibility for the attack.

At least ۱۱ people have been killed in a suicide bombing at a roadside police checkpoint in northwestern Pakistan, police and rescue officials said.

At least seven security personnel were among the dead and ۲۰ others were wounded in the attack on Saturday in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, police told Al Jazeera.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (the Pakistan Taliban or TTP), claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement.
